On the "kennel visit with a cart tour" will you be a part and get a insight of the preseason training och preparation for the dogs as well as you get a nice presentation of the life with sleddogs and the daily work what going on behind the scene.
During this tour will you have plenty of time to ask Kim question and get a insight of the different way of living as it is when you have sleddogs and the passion for the dogs and to explore the nature. 

For those who want to learn more and experience longer winter adventures, we can offer expeditions tours, both in the more sheltered but snowy forest landscape or in the more wind-exposed landscape in the Swedish mountains.

Meals and drinks: 

Salmon or reindeer meat and vegetables cooked on open fire. Soft drink and tea or coffee and cinnamon bun.

Clothing recommendations: 

Comfortable clothing what you can use close to the dogs. An extra layer, temperatures can change quickly. Closed toed footwear what is water resistant. 

Our tour is not governed by the weather, so we will not cancel.


Good to bring:

Good mood and bug spray, mosquitos are prevalent during the summer months. 


Due to safety reasons the lowest age for participants are 7 years. Person under 14 years old are not allowed to drive the training cart. 


All tours start from our homestead in Krokfors. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts. If it looks empty when you arrive, just take it easy and I will arrive soon. The reason is that I have picked up guests from a nearby hotel and we will probably arrive home in a few minuts.

Get prepared: 
At laplandhusky you get the extra equipment you need for the tour. 
The guide will inform you about the huskies and go throw the safety instruction for the tour. The guide will even give you instructions how to drive the cart and handle the team. 
Prepare the dog team: 
The guide prepare the dogs in the team. 
Start out on the trail: 
We start out on the cart tour. 
Short breaks: 
It is the ability of the dogs to work at the prevailing temperature and the weather that controls how often we will stay and let them rest and drink.
After work: 
We thank the dogs for the tour and take care of them so they can rest well and recover. 
Prepare lunch in the tipi: 
In the combination with the lunch will I explain more about the life we live with the sleddogs. In the tipi it is a packed sled with the equipment we use on the longer tours. 
Say goodbye: 
Make sure you have all your things with you.
