Laplandhusky is a small adventure company in Swedish Lapland. We are located in Krokfors, 30 minutes from Harads, where the world famous Treehotel is located.
We offer year around personal and private sleddog activities, from family fitting tours, on 2-3 hours, to more demanding expedition tours on 6 days.
How we work
Even if the focus on our activities is the sleddog tours so is a tour with us so much more than just a sleddog tour. You will participate in all activities during the tours and learn about outdoor life and nature in northern Sweden.
Who I am
Kim Jonsson started Laplandhusky 2007 after he have been guiding 10 years for other company in the Kiruna area (where the original Icehotel is located).
In the 2004 to 2010 was Kim participating yearly in some long-distance races.
In the year 2011 was Kim moving 300 km south and took a break from the fulltime guide work for 3 years.
But without to plan it so was the moment in right time. Treehotel was growing and needed activities for there guests. So it was starting again.
It was fun to be out on the trail with guests again. More back to the reason why it all started. To offer and share genuine sleddog tours for small groups in remote areas.
